The Push-Up +Lateral Crawl combo is an advanced push-up variation that challenges both core and shoulder stability.

I often incorporate this for clients who don’t tolerate heavy loading of the joints or for those who are simply looking for some variation in their programming.

I typically start with sets of 6 and work up to sets of 15. Don’t underestimate the increased fatigue that comes with the additional crawl component. These are tough so don’t get sloppy! Be sure to maintain a level spine and pelvis throughout the drill.
