Split Thoracic Rotation

I’ve really been loving this thoracic rotation drill lately for both myself and my clients. Forcing the hips into abduction and the trunk into flexion seems to really lock down the lumbar spine well so you can force rotation through the thoracic vertebrae. Additionally, I think anytime you can work on frontal plane hip mobility it’s a win.

We originally discovered this in @maxshank‘s #5minuteflow and have been including it in our own flow warm-up for our athletes this summer.
