Is this the best exercise you’re not doing? We would call this a Shoulder Elevated Hip Lift.

I dislike the term hip thrust as it seems to invoke a ballistic action. I also dislike the two leg version as I think it encourages lumbar extension. The unilateral version requires very little load and the flexed hip helps control lumbar extension. @ultimatesandbag creates a great load.
