How We Progress Our Lift Progressions

How we program our lift progressions @movementasmedicine and @bodybyboyle Top left – Phase 1- 1/2 kneeling in-line lift with pause in the middle. In-line with 3 points of contact is where we believe our 80% can begin. If someone is not ready for this, we simply let them practice with their front foot staggered off of the beam. Simultaneously, they can practice breathing in-line. Top Right – Phase 2 – 1/2 kneeling in-line split squat hold. Same movement with only 2 points of contact. Hovering the knee 1 inch off the beam. Bottom Left – Phase 3 – Squat lift. Once people show success resisting flexion, extension and rotation, we can let them explore these movements a bit more. Bottom Right – Phase 4 – Step up lift. More explosive. More dynamic. We progress people through the phases only after 3-4 weeks of success. @sanchise387 @kev_in_carr @collectmomentsnotthingz @bodybyboyle @perform_better
