Do you have active control of your hip?

   –   Here’s a great exercise to challenge hip control in the sagittal plane.
    – I like using this variation not only to improve hip flexion range of motion but also as a prerequisite to Hip CARS.
    – The intent varies depending on the client and what we are trying to achieve.
    –  Some people are simply not ready to be introduced to rotational movements. This is a great baseline to begin with.
     – Flex at the hip, NOT the low back.
