Basic Active Warm-Up: Why + Coaching Cues

The warm-up is the most underrated portion of the training program. Although it’s purpose is to set the stage for the main lift there is so much value to be gained from a solid warm-up in terms motor learning, neurological development and tissue/tendon health.
A consistently applied, well designed warm-up will not only make for a better main lift but will also lead to improved overall health and athleticism.
