Got in my first outdoor workout of the year this past week. As the weather warms up and sun comes out do your best to try and double up your sun exposure and workout time. Whether that means swinging bells in the sun or going for a long walk the double whammy of exercise and sunlight can be protective for osteoporosis, depression, heart disease, obesity, chronic fatigue and number of other diseases.

The majority of Americans living in the northeast are Vitamin D deficient. Although we can get Vitamin D from food sources like like dairy and seafood just 10 minutes in the sun can produce up to 10,000 IU of Vitamin D.

I only had 30 minutes to spare last Thursday so I took a couple bells and went outside behind the gym. Here is what my workout looked like:

4 Rounds:

KB Swing x 10
1/2 Kneeling Press x 6
TGU Up to OH Carry to TGU Down x 1 each.
1 Arm Bow and Arrow TRX Row: 8 each

Get outside this week and train and let us know in the comments what you did for a workout!
