2). Eat animals that have also eaten well.

The quality of nutrition available in the meat that you consume depends heavily on the diet that they consume. Opt for grass fed/wild caught beef and fish when possible.

3). Sweeten and Salt your own food.

When possible cook and prepare your own meals. By preparing your own food you can better control what goes into each meal.
