Get Outside! At least one time per week get outside and mix up your training environment. A variable atmosphere can help keep your training from getting stale. Besides, some fresh air and sunlight is good for you both mentally and physically. For me this means hiking, kayaking, outdoor KB workouts and crushing the Harvard Stadium stairs in the summer and snowboarding In the winter. I’ve been trying to squeeze in as many days at Harvard as a I can before the snow comes so here is what I did today.. 10 rounds/Recover to 130 BPM in between each round. – Double Stair Jumps X 5 – Push-ups X 10 – Overhead Squats X 10 Followed by: – Stair Sprints @ 100% X 10 sets/Recover to 130 BPM in between each set Every so often get out of the gym to stimulate your mind. Finding activities that you love and are the key to maintaining a long term healthy lifestyle. What’s your outdoor movement? – @kev_in_carr @movementasmedicine @collectmomentsnotthingz @sanchise387 @scottyg003 @bodybyboyle A video posted by Movement As Medicine (@movementasmedicine) on Nov 1, 2015 at 7:03am PST
