Can You Go? We all know travel can wreak havoc on the body. In Dan John’s newest book “Can You Go” he touches on his mobility/stability prescription for his traveling athletes to help them get right before competition. He said he focuses primarily on 3 things: 1). Thoracic Mobility 2). Hip Mobility 3). Rotary Stability With all the travel I’ve been doing lately I’ve been instituting this approach and have found it extremely helpful. This has been my go-to movement reset following long plane rides. Try it out and let me know how it works for you. TOP: Thoracic Mobility 1). Quadruped Rib Roll x 10 each side 2). Alternating Turkish Get Up to Palm x 8 each MIDDLE: Hip Mobility 3). 1/2 Kneeling Hip Flexor Cx 1:00 each 4). 90/90 Hip Stretch x 1:00 each BOTTOM: Rotary Stability 5). Segmental Rolling x 4 each way upper/ lower 6).
